My Newest Painting

I devoted many sleepless nights to working on it, but now I am proud to present my newest painting, the first part of my series of portraits featuring artists I admire. This one is of Marcus Goldson (check out his website here), a painter with a unique style and my former art teacher whose advice proved invaluable in developing my artistic skills.

[Speaking of updates: I’ve uploaded a few more Benedick comics as well.]

The Moondweller’s Diaries

I know I’m inconsistent when it comes to updating my blog, so the challenge of a daily diary entry might be too difficult to tackle. But nevertheless I am determined to give it a try. My plan is to post a photo every day (hopefully…), sharing one memorable moment or activity with my readers, as part of my new project entitled the Moondweller’s Diaries. And who is the Moondweller? Well, she is one of my artistic alteregos, someone who fell to the Earth from the Moon, her distant home, and who chronicles her adventures whilst trying to survive on this mad planet. Here is the first entry:

It’s my day off and I spent my afternoon painting and… well, getting messy and staining my clothes… These figures are Benedick and his friends, the stars of my comic series that I intend to continue. Oh well, they need a few finishing touches before they will be ready for the camera… But you can already find the newest episode of the series under the page labelled ‘Benedick’. I hope you enjoy it!
