Glory to You

Glory to You, our Heavenly Father

For balmy blossoms laden with the promise of spring.

Just as for the purity of winter’s first snow.

The velvet water on a summer day,

And the golden blanket of crisp autumn leaves.

Tongue-tickling spices,

Flavours sweet and sour.

Warming laughter,

The comfort of a roaring fire.

The majesty of the endless sea,

The dignity of solid hills.

And the dutifulness of skyscrapers.

On buzzing city streets.

All different, and yet all worthy of praise.

Such is Thy glory,

Such is Thy grace.
